The rock was cold and
the friction was good. Firestarter into Sparks (V7) climbs above the crux of Firestarter to then finish left along a line of crimps. I thought that I had it, but I didn’t,
as I couldn’t match my right hand onto the finishing sloper. I cut loose three
times, and so to be fair, I didn’t deserve it. It is so overhanging that after a small error you become pumped almost immediately, making it hard to
hold on. Will I go back and finish it off? Yes, definitely.
